THREE GLOVE DAY

It was a quiet day on the hills today, only saw 2 people and 1 dog. Hard work brakeing trail along Tarmachan's four summits today after the blizzards over the last couple of days had left fesh snow. Cloudbase was 700m all day with a few light snow showers on a Moderate Westerly. Great mix of snow conditions, lots of windslab on Easterly aspects with a particulary huge bit of slab just East of Beinn nan Eachan's summit. I was finding some nice wee gullys on the way round, I noticed the two guys were useing a GPS and it seemed to be leading them into some nice windslab areas, mmmmm!

I used the trusty snowshoes again straight from the house at Morenish but no breakable crust so still hard work. It was poor visibility most of the day but great to be out and with a bit of freeze/thaw it'll become good. Cam Creag's gullys and butresses are looking good with well filled in gullies and rime ice.
