THE WALKERS HAUTE ROUTE

Day 1 on the Walkers Haute Route with a great group of 10 folk from Australia,  USA and The UK. Todays section starts at Montroc and ascends the Aiguillete de Possets, up to the Col de Balme and then down to Trient. We enjoyed fabulous clear skies and hot sun. Rather than a direct decent to Trient it is far nicer to take the path round to Lays Tornays for the stunning view over to the Trient Glacier and the Fenetre Arpette, tomorrows route. I am guiding this 10 day trek from Chamonix to Zermatt for Mont Blanc Treks.
